Fun fact: we went to a potluck a week or so ago with Shawn's study group and their families. Iva was playing with one of the other "older" girls and they were spinning like ballerinas. All the sudden I heard umm umm umm blah... Iva spun so much she puked all over the livingroom. She took a break from spinning to puke and then was right back to spinning. (Even better this is the second time she has puked from playing too hard with the same little girl (3 1/2) who is her best friend.)
But because Iva loves to spin, we decided it was time to sign her up for ballet class. Midwestern offers awesome ballet classes (plus craft time) for 8 weeks.
She has had one class so far and is still warming up to it. She did great during the freestyle, but circle time was a bit overwhelming for her and she played shy. Luckily, her best friend, who she calls Monkey, was there. Monkey took her under her wing and they figured it out together. It was pretty precious to watch.
And of course, Iva needed a snack during class. Notice Charlie in the background- he just sat peacefully in the stroller the whole time. It is amazing what veggie straws are capable of.
After ballet class, they have a little craft time set up for them. Iva loved that (probably more than dance class.) She is, seriously, getting so old! Where is baby Iva?!?
