So proud of this guy!
Abby West, Jaimee Anderson, and I. Our husbands were med school buddies.
Oh, Amanda Sebreros, she saved me so much during school.

End of School

Man, what a year. Iva's kindergarten year was wild, but she ended the year on a high with an amazing brand new teacher. Ms Stansbury is a saint. She came into the middle of the school year after a less than ideal situation and loved those kindergarteners to bits. It was so hard for Iva to say goodbye since we will be in Kingman for the next school year. Moving stinks.

Charlie had a great year in headstart. He loved his teachers and learned so much. He was excited for the end of the year performance and summer. He doesn't have quite the love for school that Iva does.

Wolf Dog

Every morning at Preschool drop off, Charlie would have to wait and give "Wolf Dog" loves before he went into class. Merle would lick and lick Charlie's face. If Wolf Dog wasn't there or we were late and missed Merle, Charlie's entire day was thrown off. It really became a really sweet thing. Bruce, Merle's human dad, loved stopping every morning to see Charlie and chat. They even wrote Charlie the sweetest note on the last day of school and gave Charlie pictures so he could remember Merle forever. Charlie is such a sweet, kind boy. I hope that never changes.

Fort Myers Beach

We stopped by Fort Myers beach and walked on the beach sand dollar and starfish hunting. Then we ate lunch on the boardwalk and walked around some more. Not much (but a lot at the same time) had changed since I had been there.

Mote Aquarium

Shawn really wanted to see a manatee. It was on his bucket list. Unfortunately, the water temperature was wrong and we couldn't see one in nature. After a few google searches, we found an "aquarium" that had manatees. It was more of a research lab, but they had manatees and Shawn was able to check it off his list. We sat and watched the manatees for a long long time. Shawn thought it was pretty amazing.

Thomas Edison Winter Home and All You Can Eat Hibachi

First, oh my, this was probably one of my favorite restaurants ever. All you can eat Hibachi and sushi. It was so good! I will definitely be going back and eating there again.

Growing up, we would go to Thomas Edison's Winter Home for field trips. It was fun to go back and see it as an adult. I don't know how much had changed or if I was really that bad at paying attention when I was younger. I, also, learned that Shawn HATES that people are taught that Thomas Edison invented the lightbulb.

Graduation Trip.

Shawn and I got to go on a little trip, just the two of us, to celebrate medical school graduation. It was awesome and so weird all at the same time. We really missed the kids and wished they were there, but also enjoyed running into 7 11 and grabbing a slurpee alone. It is the little things. We had fun days full of eating out, sleeping in, trying alligator for the first time (Shawn), going to the beach, swimming in Grammie and Grampie's awesome pool. Made me realize that I may be a Florida girl after all- or at least definitely, sunshine and somewhere warm girl.

Eagle Trip

We had the best trip to Idaho. We did so many fun things.

There was lots of playing outside. Swimming. Cooking hot dogs. And more.

We made a trip to the river and the kids loved throwing rocks in the river. I am amazed no one fell in. We love to be outside.

We went with Grammie to pick up her new goats. Then we chased them threw the goat cage so we could hold one. They are pretty cute and goofy.

We made a trip to Parma and enjoyed the paddle boat. Even though Henry threw quite the fit and only wanted to ride with me. Little booger.

Auntie Liz wins the gold medal for setting up so many fun things to do. The best was probably getting to bottle feed baby rescued cows. They were so cute and hungry. I wasn't allowed in the pen because of my pregnant belly and they were worried I might get rammed. But it was fun to be on the outside and watch everyone else.

We took advantage of the beautiful weather and stopped by the new temple in Meridian. It is beautiful and the flowers were amazing.

Another fun thing Aunt Liz set up was getting to stop by and visit Morgan's soon to be kitty and its siblings. I think Iva wants a kitten even more now. Dang allergies.
