We love trick or treating at Shawn's school. We pulled Iva out of school early and headed over. The kids were in heaven and it was actually slightly not hot so they didn't over heat too much. Maybe next year we will get to have a cold Halloween and wear all our fuzzy costumes without sweating.

MWU Summer Camp
MWU Summer camp was a blast again. This was the first time that Henry was old enough to participate. He did pretty great. Iva is a great listener and helper. Charlie is a little bit wild and loves attention. We are so grateful for such great staff who out on a great camp. Ms Bonnie and Ms Erin are pretty awesome. We will miss them and the activities a lot next year.

First Day of Fourth Year
Shawn started fourth year- audition rotations and core rotations. (And his last year of school.) I can hardly believe how fast this medical school journey is going. I am not going to lie- there have been hard moments, but I have loved it. Our life in Arizona is pretty amazing and I know a huge part of that has to do with Shawn and his ability to come home from long days of school/studying and still giving 100% to his family. I am excited (and nervous for aways) for this next year of school and seeing Shawn continue learning and seeing which field he really loves.

MWU Safe Halloween
Midwestern's Safe Halloween is a family favorite. Trick or treating from building to building on campus, bouncy houses. candy, cookie decorating, and crafts- it doesn't get much better than that. It was really hot (like 90 degrees) so we recycled costumes for some that were a little cooler. The kids didn't seem to mind at all.

Kids' Camp Week 2
Week 2 of Kids' Camp was Disney week. And to be honest, it was only a week ago, but I can't even remember what we did. I do know Iva and Charlie had lots of fun and there were more relay races.

MWU Kids' Camp
We love MWU activities. Our summer has been busy with swim lessons, music class, and then teaching an art class, but I decided we couldn't miss a MWU activity. Kids' Camp is every Thurs morning for a month. The first hour is activities and the second hour is a craft. Both Iva and Charlie are old enough to participate this year and it has been a blast. Charlie loves the first hour and Iva loves the second hour. It is perfect.
The first week was dinosaur themed. They did an egg hunt, matching dinosaur bones, and relay races. Talk about fun.

Bridging Ceremony
Bridging Ceremony. Iva, Charlie, Henry, and I headed to the bridging ceremony to "celebrate" Shawn moving from the classroom to rotations/clinicals. We sure are proud of our dada and how much he does. Here is to boards being a thing of the past.

OMM
Today, Shawn had has osteopathic manipulation medicine practical final. Basically, he bends the body and does all sorts of things to help relieve pain (called omt). Well, last night, he needed to practice and I was his patient. For the most part it is awesome, but I dread when the flash card pops up to locate the different tender points. You think he could just talk through those ones. Nope!

MWU Winter Wonderland Festival
We love MWU parties and this one did not disappoint. We met Santa, decorated cookies, made marshmallow men, and played a bunch of games. Iva and Charlie were in heaven. (Until I took away Charlie's green cupcake he won in the cupcake walk.)
