#3 is 3 Months

Henry Dorsal is three months old and AWESOME. We love Henry boy. He is a pretty happy baby. Every once in awhile, he lets us know that he does not enjoy being trapped in his car seat. Iva always yells "quick, mama, quick" and Charlie yells "too loud, too loud" when Henry lets us know he is hungry. He loves his sister and brother and smiles like crazy at them. Dada still gets the best laughs and can make Henry giggle so hard- it is amazing. If Henry is awake, he is either smiling or talking. He loves to talk and coo. He isn't a huge fan of his swing or bouncer anymore, but loves the umbrella stroller. We just plop him in there and wheel him around to whereever we are. He loves being able to sit up and see what we are doing. He occasionally hollers when we don't pay enough attention to him. He has been getting worse at napping, but better at nighttime sleeping so I can't complain. He sleeps from 7-630ish (occassionally wakes up at 3, but most nights sleeps through the night.) He is funny when it comes to nursing- if he is tired, he will not take a bottle, but if he is awake, he won't nurse and will only take a bottle. Silly boy. He has one arm that seems to be a little weaker (or he just favors the other) so he has PT for now. I am hoping he doesn't have to go for long. He is definitely loved and part of the family. It is like he was never not here. The other day, we picked Iva up from school. (I had left Henry at home with Shawn.) Iva got into the car and just became hysterical. I could not figure out what was going on. I finally got her to settle down and she just kept crying "you lost Henry" over and over. I finally convinced her that he was home with Shawn, but she whimpered the whole way home. Of course, Henry put on a show and was all smiles for her when they were reunited. We love our Henry boy.

Wouldn't stop talking long enough for a picture :)
He is a smiley droll machine. This picture is totally Henry.
His little legs are definitely chunk-ing up.
Can't wait till his next check up to see how chubby he really is.
Loves to chew on his little hands (play with his tongue.)

It was close to impossible to get a picture of him smiling because he was too busy talking and telling Iva stories. She was behind the scenes trying to get a smile. But he was just too distracted by her. It was probably a good thing Charlie was napping or there would definitely have been too many distractions.

Charlie Three Months Old...

Charles Wallace Catmull
Charlie is three months old. He is adorable and chubby! He is a really good little baby. The other day, he decided he needs lots of attention. He loves to be held, talked to, and tickled. He is so ticklish to the point of tears. (Yes, I have tickled him till he cried several times. It is too hard to resist.) He can smile, coo and laugh. His laugh sounds just like his cry. He loves to eat. During the day, he eats every 2 1/2 hours (no matter how many ounces we try to stuff in him.) He sleeps from 11-6 most nights in his pack n play. He loves to take naps in the swing. He has started to really love his tummy time mat. He is beginning to be able to control his arms and reach for the hanging toys. He smiles anytime he sees Iva. He laughs best for his dad. He is a happy little baby.

3 Months...

Iva is 3 months old. (I missed her actual 3 months, but we will back track a little.) Iva is an amazing baby. She is beautiful. Sometimes I can hardly believe part of me made that. She loves sucking her hands. She went through a short thumb phase, but now it is her pointer finger that she sucks on. She chews on everything... especially Shawn's finger. She drools a ton. She can sit up alone for 2 Mississippi. (You have to get her pretty balanced to start with.) She drinks a ton- weighs about 15 lbs. She has four leg rolls on her thigh. She looks like she has rubber bands around her arms and legs. She still sleeps through the night- usually 9:30-9:00. She loves and recognizes her dad and gets really excited when he comes home. (She loves and prefers men. Especially her great grandpa.) When she gets excited, she starts kicking her legs and flailing her arms. She loves kicking her blanket off her lap in her swing. She loves diaper changes and absolutely hates wet diapers. She hates clothes and loves being naked. This isn't working out so great now that it is in the twenties outside. She loves Dug and constantly watching him. She can roll on to her side. She has started sleeping on her side. She talks nonstop- she even wakes up talking. She is angry when she is hungry. She screams until she gets fed. She can hold her bottle if you put her little hands in the right spot. Well, on to the pictures...
Pictures started off with bubble blowing...
Then tears...
A milk break... Check out that hair :)
And then came the smiles!
Iva and the bear... and that tongue.
Pinching her little chubby knee.
Love those eyes... and that smile.
And chewing her hands, of course.
