Eagle Trip

We had the best trip to Idaho. We did so many fun things.

There was lots of playing outside. Swimming. Cooking hot dogs. And more.

We made a trip to the river and the kids loved throwing rocks in the river. I am amazed no one fell in. We love to be outside.

We went with Grammie to pick up her new goats. Then we chased them threw the goat cage so we could hold one. They are pretty cute and goofy.

We made a trip to Parma and enjoyed the paddle boat. Even though Henry threw quite the fit and only wanted to ride with me. Little booger.

Auntie Liz wins the gold medal for setting up so many fun things to do. The best was probably getting to bottle feed baby rescued cows. They were so cute and hungry. I wasn't allowed in the pen because of my pregnant belly and they were worried I might get rammed. But it was fun to be on the outside and watch everyone else.

We took advantage of the beautiful weather and stopped by the new temple in Meridian. It is beautiful and the flowers were amazing.

Another fun thing Aunt Liz set up was getting to stop by and visit Morgan's soon to be kitty and its siblings. I think Iva wants a kitten even more now. Dang allergies.

Eagle Island

Eagle Island sure has changed a lot since the last time we went. There was an awesome little beach now with swimming areas, a slide, snowcones, and lots of fun.

Convertible Rides

Charlie is still talking about rides in the race car with papa. And Iva tells everyone, who will listen, she has been in a car with no roof.

Aquarium

We made it to the Boise Aquarium one day. The highlight was feeding the birds. And attempting to feed the stingrays- I am not sure if Iva ever did, but she sure talks like she did.

Creatures

When Iva found out we were going to Idaho, she requested we go on creature hunts. I told Liz that and Auntie Liz delivered. Iva has not stopped talking about all the creatures she saw/caught. Iva sure loves her creatures. There was tadpole catching, feather hunting, and fishing to name a few.

Iva and Charlie both caught their first fish. Charlie caught one and was done. Luckily, Allison was there and entertained Charlie when he just wanted to sit in the car. Iva caught fish after fish and was in heaven. She came home and told Shawn she caught more fish than he has in his entire life. She was pretty excited.
