Eagle Fun

We got to Eagle a couple days before the Hornes did. We spent our days of waiting playing around outside and going to Costco and the Farmer's market.

The trampoline, running through the sprinklers, animals, and bike riding were favorites.

The Farmer's market had swings, a see saw, and sandbox for the kids to play in. That was a hit.

The Farm

Iva and Charlie love any chance they get to go to Boppa's house. (Grammie and Grampie are both referred to as Boppa.) We had a great time in Eagle- even though it took Iva SIX days to warm up to everyone and not be a grumpy gus. She did have a fever, pink eye, and sickness that might have had something to do with that. She was so sad to head home and keeps asking to go on a plane one more time to Boppa's house. Charlie loved Eagle and definitely made sure Papa knew he was there and constantly wanted Papa to hold him. Charlie didn't get pink eye, but had a bad fever one day. It happened to be the day Carrie babysat- poor Carrie, but she handled it like a champ.

We had a lot of fun hanging out around the house and playing on the farm. Iva and Charlie both love animals and sure did their part harassing them. And were more than happy to bounce all day.

There was a lot of "monkey" watching.
And sick cuddles (and sleeping).
Iva's favorite thing ever- Black Kitty Cat.

Iva's new trick- escaping the pack n play.

Thanksgiving Break: Eagle

We left for Boise Monday morning and made it there in time for dinner. Iva and Charlie didn't mind the short car ride and were so excited to see everyone at the "farm" including the goats and kitties. They slept more on the way to Boise than they did the entire way from AZ.

We had lots of fun in Eagle. Iva loves animals and being outside so it is the perfect place for her- I just wish the weather was warmer. Iva had a hard time convincing us to play outside with her. Luckily, her Grammie and Papa were willing to brave the cold and let Iva tag along and help with the morning chores.

We had lots of fun and unfortunately, I didn't do very good at taking pictures. But we had fun walking the mall and eating at the food court. Hanging out. Playing with the Iversons. Running errands. Playing with Grammie and Papa. Getting frozen yogurt. Shawn and I had a date night. Feeding the goats and harassing the kitties. Canning applesauce and chopping my finger. Movie going without the babies. A hunting trip for Shawn. Shopping for the rest of us. Morgan babysitting the babies all day everyday. Baby sleepover. Charlie learning to walk. And more...

Iva and Charlie sure were sad to leave Eagle. Iva keeps asking if we can "go back". We will miss all of our Idaho family, but are so glad we got to go "home" and see everyone.

Everything is Awesome Week

We had a great family reunion. My emotions were all over the place (no clue why? I am not pregnant.) and the only drama was because of me. Other than that, we had a blast!

Iva and Charlie loved playing with their cousins, aunts and uncles, and Grampie and Grammie. It was pretty awesome to have all the grandchildren (14) in one house and running wild!

We had lots of fun- splash pads, parks, taste tests, aquarium, swimming, tractor rides, horse rides, paddle boarding, crafts, car races, frozen yogurt (I gained 6 lbs in a week) and more!

We had a blast and can't believe how fast the week flew by. We are missing everyone and can't wait for the next family reunion. We are so grateful that Grammie and Grampie made it possible for us to be there- we are so glad we didn't have to miss out.

Eagle So Far

We are currently "living/vacationing" in Eagle until we head to AZ in July. We are having a great time and life is pretty awesome in Eagle. There is a lot of time spent outside playing which means Iva is in heaven.

There has been paddle boarding on the pond. I was on one and Allison and Morgan were on the other. I tried to get Iva to come with me and she refused, but she gave in to cousin pressure and went with them.

There is a splash pad and park near the river. So we have gone playing and walking a few times. Throwing rocks into the river was a hit.

Charlie has finally learned to eat! Thank you, Grammie. Feeding him a bottle every 2 hours was getting old and tiring. And he has been sleeping so much better (sleeping in until 930-10 now and taking a long nap!)

Morgan has become another mom to the babies and they love her.

Swimming in the pool is a must. We are sure lucky to have a Grammie who spends so much time keeping the pool clean (Iva doesn't do dirt anymore?) and ready to swim. (And a papa who turned the heat up!)

And the endless supply of raspberries has been pretty awesome too! Morgan told me the other day that I needed to go put Iva down for a nap because we were going to eat all the raspberries :) I guess Iva does take after me just a little bit.
