SuperDad

Shawn is seriously super dad. He is amazing. I am so thankful for all he does for our family. He works hard in school all day (now rotations) and comes home and still gives us his very best- even if it means bathing way too big of kids in the bathroom sink.

Sleep

Sleep is very precious around here these days. I have appreciated every second that even one person or animal is asleep.

I am a Zoo Keeper

Iva had her first school presentation. It was entitled "I am a zoo keeper." She had to pick an animal to present on and build a habitat for them. She was trying to decided between giraffe and anteater. She ended up choosing the giraffe because she didn't want to leave her special anteater at school for a couple of weeks. Henry, Emma and I got to go to school and watch her presentation. She did so good. She stood up in front of everyone (with her back to them) and answered Ms Sandra's prompts about giraffes. I am so proud of her and how far she has come this year.

After her presentation, she had a friendship party in her class. We stayed for the party. Henry was in heaven being one of the big kids and Iva was pretty happy to have special class visitors. 

Valentine's Package

Grandma and Grandpa Catmull sent the kiddos a Valentine package. They loved everything in the package, but the squirt guns were probably the favorite. They had lots of fun shooting each other and then hunting animals in the backyard. I sure love their little imaginations.

Emma got a new outfit as well. Talk about cute! Man, we love our little Emma June Bug.

Matching Cousins.

Morgan brought matching dresses for Iva and Emma. To say Iva was excited to match would definitely be an understatement. She LOVES her Morgan and loved matching her. 

My Present are Here!

Morgan and Carrie came to visit us and my kids could not have been more excited. It was much too short of a trip, but we loved having the company and playing together. We went to church, the temple, the zoo, snuggled, and then it was time to go home. Iva is already planning her next trip to Idaho and can't wait to see everyone again. 

Kingman, AZ

Shawn left for an away rotation in Kingman, AZ the week after Emma was born. He was able to come home for a couple of days which was great, but I decided we were ready to see Shawn again. I packed up and we made the three hour drive to Kingman. It was my first road trip with the four kids (and alone). They all did great. 

Once in Kingman, we swam, explored the town a bit (including checking out the local walmart), and hung out in the hotel room. We had so much fun on our little vacation and the best part was that Emma slept the best she ever has in the hotel room. 

Valentine's Day.

Shawn was in Kingman for Valentine's Day so we decided to have our own little Valentine's day celebration. Iva and Charlie decided a walk to the park and picnic sounded best. I am glad we went and didn't just sit at home missing Shawn- even though we really missed him.

Valentine's Day Playgroup

We hosted the ward Valentine's Day party at our house. Iva and Charlie were in heaven and had a blast. The party was a little wild for a bit- a little one with a peanut allergy ate a peanut butter ball and ended up at the emergency room. But besides that it was a lot of fun and pretty cute to see Iva and Charlie so excited to see their valentines.
