Our time with dada may be limited, but he sure makes the most of it. There is nothing better than watching these three play with dada or "my Shawn" as Charlie calls him.

Crawling Machine
Henry has started crawling. Has his first tooth. Pulls up on everything. Loves to "talk". Sings whenever he hears music- especially during sacrament meeting. Love his brother and sister. Loves crawling and chasing Dug. Loves baby food and puffs. Not a hug fan of watermelon. Loves any food that gets dropped down to him. Smiles constantly. Has a little separation anxiety. Loves floating in the pool. And is one easy going, mellow baby. We love our little Henry!

Sponge Bob
Before we got pregnant, I was begging Shawn for another dog. Once we got pregnant, he said no way! Then things changed and I was back to begging for a dog. I think Shawn felt a little sorry/sad for me and gave in (sort of). He did a lot of research and said we could get a guinea pig instead.
Sponge Bob has been taken over by the kids though. Iva LOVES him. The second she wakes up she is getting him out to hold. She can get him out of his cage now and that has been amazing. No more getting him in and out for me. Charlie is a little jealous and has had a couple rough encounters with Sponge Bob. Sponge Bob is a trooper though and just is a happy content guy. Did you know guinea pigs/ cavys don't bite? We sure are lucky and happy they don't. Charlie would probably been chomped a few times by now.
The Play Factory
Our little friend, Tomi, had her birthday party at The Play Factory. (Our POGO pass is good there.) We had a great time jumping around and climbing. We celebrated with a mini picnic and donuts! Iva loves Tomi and I am so happy they get along so well. Tomi's little sister is in Joy School with Charlie so it works out perfectly. They both have a friend to play with.
They told me Charlie was too light and not to let go of him because he might go straight to the top... uh... I wasn't a huge fan of him climbing, but he loved it. Iva climbed maybe a foot off the ground and started panicking. She was not a fan. But did it twice- with the same exact result.

Helmet Update
Henry and the helmet... We are not very good about wearing it. I remember occasionally and he doesn't seem to mind it. We just have not made it a habit. But at all of his check ups, they tell us we are doing a good job. And his head is rounding out so we will take it.
Primary Talent Show
Our ward had a primary talent show. They really wanted all the children to participate with either an act or display. Iva knew exactly what she wanted to do. She wanted to make "art".
She ended up drawing a family portrait and writing all of our names. I wrote them down on a separate piece of paper and she copied them. I was very impressed. She is quite the little artist.
At the talent show, they had all the sunbeams come up on stage and sing "Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam". With a little help, Iva went up and sang. Or stood there and jumped.
Iva and Charlie loved watching their friends participate and got a kick out of it. It was cute to watch them get so excited for the other kids. Their absolute favorite was a little skit about Elephant and Pig. I still need to look it up- it apparently is a book.

The Big #5
Shawn and I have been married for FIVE years. I can hardly believe how fast time has gone and how much we have been through. I don't know if I could even count it all... We have moved eight times (possibly nine). We have been blessed with three wonderful babies. We both completed undergrad at BYU Idaho. Shawn started medical school and has finished two years. We have been on multiple crazy trips- from the Dominican Republic to Disney World to driving from DE to ID. We have learned to rely on each other with family not being next door anymore. I wouldn't change one single thing about the last five years. I am truly blessed to have Shawn for a husband. He is the most selfless, kind, caring person ever. How does he put up with me?!?
We had a great anniversary night. We got a babysitter for all three kids. Well, on our way there, Henry fell asleep and ended up crashing our date. Good thing he is so cute and easy. We went to Cheesecake Factory and had a great time just being together and almost child less. After dinner, we decided to skip cheesecake and pick up the kids for frozen yogurt. They were so excited to celebrate our birthday and we went with it.

Beanie Babies and Chairs
Iva loves her Beanie Babies (especially Kitty). And she loves making chairs and castles for them. It is pretty sweet to watch.
