Henry Dorsal is five months old. He is our little goofball. He absolutely loves when Iva and Shawn act silly... he just laughs and laughs. He loves when Shawn chases Charlie and Iva with the "baby monster." He is a hair puller and Iva doesn't always appreciate that. Henry has discovered toys. He has a favorite crinkly book that he just sits and chews on. He loves his play mat. He has become a rolling machine and rolls everywhere. Sometimes he rolls into a corner and can't figure out how to roll back- he is not a fan of that. He was sleeping through the night, but seems to have caught a cold and has been waking up around 5 am- hoping that doesn't last long. He has no teeth, but still drools a ton. He loves to be outside and sitting up in the stroller. He loves going out into the backyard and just watching Iva and Charlie play. He is still on breast milk, but will be getting his first dose of formula as soon as our freezer stash is out. He is interested in our food and would probably like to try solids. He loves the park and going down the slide with Iva and Charlie. He is a really happy little guy for the most part. We love our Henry Baby.

5 Months Old
Iva is getting so big! She is quite the happy, little (little meaning chubby) baby. Iva has done a lot in the last five months. She has traveled internationally. She went to the beach for the first time- touched the ocean and sand. She has been swimming a couple of times. She has gotten to play with her cousins a lot. She has traveled to Utah quite a few times. She has learned to roll over. She has perfected the "fake" crying. She has her daddy wrapped around her finger. She had a little adjustment being home from the DR, but is back to sleeping through the night. She hates taking naps during the day and does everything she can to fight it. She has really rosy cheeks- I blame the weather? She loves sweet potatoes and will eat green beans and carrots. She has all the signs of teething besides teeth. She loves people and attention. She fake coughs until you look at her. She loves to blow raspberries (either Shawn or Grandpa Catmull taught her- neither will admit it.) She will try to make any noise she hears and it is pretty good at it. She is a "talker" and "singer". She wakes up happy every morning. (She must get that from Shawn.) She loves jumping and her jumper. She got an exersaucer for Christmas and loves playing in it. She is no longer into laying still or cuddling. I probably shouldn't admit this, but she loves watching TV. She loves playing with her stuffed animals. She puts everything straight into her mouth. She has discovered and controls her hands and feet. Iva's hair has a natural side part and is still growing a ton. Iva's best friend is Dug. She always has to know where he is. She loves smiling at him and pulling his hair. She is one of the happiest babies I have ever met.

She, also, has started chewing on her lip a ton.

Innocent, right?

She has learned to "wiggle" to where ever Dug is. As you can tell, it requires deep concentration.

Best friends! Iva loves pulling on Dug and he is so patient.

Too late :) She hasn't quite figured out the whole balance thing yet.

And my favorite little face of all.
