One Month!

Iva is one month old. I can hardly believe it. She is getting better at holding her head up. She eats a ton. Sleeps pretty well- wakes up at 330 every night, but that is it. She is much more alert and looks at people now. She smiled smiled at Grandpa Catmull for the first time. The next day I worked hard and got two smiles out of her- it wasn't gas either. She is as cute as can be. She does have a baby mullet though ;) She is really mellow. She even fell asleep during our photo shoot tonight.

Post Bath Hair

Iva loves being in the bath, but hates getting out. Her hair makes me laugh every time. I love all that hair!

Grateful...

For Shawn and Sunday naps. I went to lay down this afternoon and told Shawn to wake me up when he needed me. I may or may not have slept for two hours :) it was awesome and much needed. I woke up to find them as content as content could be.

Utah So Far...

Iva and I made the trip to Utah to play with the Horne kids while Eric and Laura spend time with baby Ward. Ward is still in the NICU, but is doing really well now. Keep him in your prayers.

We have our first two fish in the tank. I should say our first two of take two. All the kinks have been worked out and there will not be another Finding Nemo moment.

The fish are still a little skiddish so this the best picture I could get.

Two weeks...

Watching the Olympics...

Iva wasn't too into watching, but I got lots of cuddles. We watched them this morning and afternoon. She got clothes at halftime of the women's soccer game :)

Iva is starting to change so much and she is only a week and a half old. So far she is keeping her hair- fingers crossed.

I should give special credit to Carrie for making the adorable pad that Iva loves laying on.

Reunited...

Baby Iva and I went to Utah for a day and a half. We drove Meg and my mom down to visit the Hornes before my mom goes back to the DR. Iva and I had a lot of fun, but we sure missed daddy. They were happy to be reunited and looked really cute cuddling.
