Dug's first day at home. He seemed to adjust pretty well and loves being a Catmull. Dug has split personalities... he is mellow and my shadow all day. However, as soon as Shawn comes home he goes crazy. They have made up a lot of games that they play. Dug's favorite is Shawn wrapping him up in a blanket and Dug trying to find his way out of the blanket. He just looks at me when I try to do it with him. Guess it is not my thing?

Meet Dug the Pug...
One day, I was sitting on the couch bugging Shawn about how bored I am all day. I told him I needed a reason to have to leave the house. He was just agreeing with me and not really listening. I asked if I could get a dog and he said sure if it was under a certain price, was already trained, was up to date on all shots and was fixed. Little did he know, he just opened the flood gates. I began searching for the perfect dog and found Dug the Pug (previously known as Tank.)

Baby Doll Clothes...
My niece, Morgan, is here visiting me in Rexburg. She is keeping me company so I am not lonely. She brought her doll with and was really hoping we could sew some pants for her since she only has a skirt. McKenna is a cowgirl and she can't ride her horse very well with a skirt on.

I decided it sounded like a fun project to tackle. (Guess I should learn how now so I can sew clothes with my little girl one day.)
Morgan was very happy with the finished project. There are minor imperfections, but I am overall pretty excited with how the pants turned out too.
A close-up of the pants... not too bad, eh?

Oyster Shells
Shawn has an obsession with salt water tanks. He has spent hours researching them and designing his dream tank. For Valentine's Day and his birthday, I found a fish tank off of Craigslist for him and the adventures have begun...
Today we began phase one... making live rock for the tank. It is really expensive to buy so Shawn thought it would be better to make his own. The first step was crushing oyster shells. We tried to crush them in the house, but it was too loud and not working. We decided to go to Beaver Dick park and use the rocks there... so here is to our adventure.

| I was the "inspector." I was to sort through and find ones more than an inch long. |
| When I did find them, I used my handy dandy rock hammer. |

A First...

Every time Shawn and I drive by a Red Robin, Shawn and I get into a debate about whether or not he has ever been there before. He swears he never has and I swear I went there with me- he tells me that it must have been a different boyfriend. Well, tonight we finally put the debate to an end and went there together. Now he can no longer say he has never been there. (P.S. Thanks to the Garlicks for the giftcard.)

Routine...
Shawn and I are back into normal routine and it feels great. Dinner at 5:30 and in bed by 10 pm. Life doesn't get much better than that.
I probably just jinxed myself and our routine is going to get turned upside down, but I will enjoy it while it lasts.
