Ward Melodrama

Our ward is blessed to have some amazingly talented people in it. One of them, Kendra, decided to organize a ward activity that was a ward melodrama. I had debated going or not because Shawn was in West Virginia and I didn't know how it would go with all four kids alone. I am so glad I went and embraced it. The kids had a blast and considering the audience was supposed to boo, cheer, and ah it was the perfect activity for our family. It was really fun to see some of the primary children act in it and of course, we needed pictures with the stars of the show. Before the show started, there were carnival games to earn tickets and then after you could purchase drinks, candy, and popcorn for the show. It was perfect.

Homecoming Talks

On Sunday, Grammie and Grampie gave their homecoming talks. It was pretty amazing to all be sitting the pews together listening to them. What a blessing. They both did wonderful and the spirit was felt.

Emma enjoyed church a lot too... she spent the time with Liz and Carrie being spoiled. Look at that little chunky baby.

Future Missionaries

Our first night out on the town and we headed to the church for temple recommend renewal interviews. The kiddos thought the pass along cards were pretty awesome. Hopefully one day, they will be passing them along. There was a little debate on whether or not the kids should wear church clothes... thoughts?

Ward Christmas Party

We had a great ward Christmas party. Dinner was delicious. (And I got to test out the instant pot and make mashed potatoes.) Our table won second in the trivia game and got lots of chocolate. The kids had fun doing Christmas crafts waiting to meet Santa. And then we met Santa. Henry still was not a fan.

We stopped for a quick photo on the way out the door.
