Fourth of July

We had a great low key Fourth of July. We stayed home BBQed and did little firecrackers in the backyard. Last year, Charlie got burned by a sparkler and was super worried about being burned again. We convinced him he wouldn't get burned. He was doing great and then all of the sudden screams that he was on fire. And sure enough a little spark had landed on his fleece pjs and burned a hole (but not on fire)- leave it to Charlie. Henry was not a fan of sparklers and would not get anywhere near them- maybe next year.
