The JGAA offered a free golf clinic for little ones. It was the Itty Bitty Open. It was really cute and we had a lot of fun. The kids got a set of plastic clubs, a visor, and score card. Iva got much better after instruction and practice. She actually could swing and hit the ball. Charlie just loved running and swinging the club- half of the time, he didn't even have a golf ball. Iva got in the car after and said "I sure loved those soccer balls" so maybe she didn't learn as much as I thought she did.
Lucky for me, Shawn was home studying and watched Henry for me. Iva and Charlie were pretty sad Henry wasn't with us. I finally convinced them it was ok and they could teach him when we got home. First thing when we walked in the door, they started teaching him and insisted he put on the visor. He didn't seem to mind.
