We made a trip to the Anthem outlets to see the largest, tallest, real, decorated Christmas tree in the US. There was some debate about how tall it was... so it was just REALLY tall. And then we had fun finding Santa's sleigh.

Park Days with Meg
The sun shined while Meg was here. So we took advantage of cooler, sunny days and headed to the park. We had a great trip- complete with Henry face planting and just laying there. We were worried about him for a minute because he seriously didn't move, just collapsed and laid there.

Thanksgiving Day
We had a great Thanksgiving day. We watched the parade, made thankful turkeys, enjoyed a yummy turkey thanks to Shawn (Meg even ate some turkey and approved), spent time as a family, and loved having Meg here.

Meg does AZ
Meg came to spend Thanksgiving with us. We were so glad to have a visitor and family visiting. Shawn didn't get much time off for Thanksgiving so I was happy to not be alone. Charlie was definitely the most excited about having Meg in town- even if he did almost break her nose.

Bass Pro Shop
Last year, we went to Bass Pro Shop to get our free picyures with Santa, but we went too close to Christmas and missed out on a picture because Santa was completely booked. We did not make the same mistake this year and went to see Santa early.
The kids had a blast playing in the ball pit, riding on the carousel, driving the remote control cars and seeing all of the Christmas decorations. Some of them had more fun than others meeting actual Santa. Poor Henry was not a fan of Santa.

Bathtub
I wanted to send some pictures of the kids to Shawn while he was gone for the weekend. They were too busy playing in the bathtub to cooperate.

Henry the Big Boy
Henry has been done with his high chair for awhile. He was not a fan anymore and would cry, scream, arch his back and try to throw himself out of it when we would try and put him in it. So he earned a spot at the table. He loves his new spot at the table and dinner time has become a lot more enjoyable for everyone- except for whoever is within arm's distance of Henry.
Paleontologist
This project took several hours. It included several stops for food and clothing changes. I still can't believe she sat there that long and found every single bone. She is crazy focused. I definitely would have given up and moved on to the next project.

Dinosaur Party
Charlie kept it pretty simple in his requests for his party with friends. He wanted it to be dinosaur and to read dinosaur books. We did both and had a dinosaur egg hunt, hatched dinosaur eggs, had a dinosaur ball toss, played with dinosaur gliders, and enjoyed the backyard. It was a lot of fun and both Iva and Charlie are already planning their parties for next year. I didn't do a very good job taking pictures, but here are a few.

Thanksgiving Pajamas
We have so much to be thankful for. Our lives truly are blessed and we are so blessed to be living in AZ while Shawn is going to school. We would love to be closer to family, but it has been fun to be able to start little holiday traditions as a little family and matching holiday pjs is probably my favorite. I sure love these three- nose picking and all.
